My goofball...

Wow! how time flies. I cannot believe my little man is almost 10 1/2 months old. It just surprises me that I am already making plans for his 1st birthday party. Makes me sad but happy at the same time. He keeps me so busy I can't even keep up with writing a blog about him. LOL, I should have known!

Anyways, Kingston got his 1st tooth when he was 7 months old. That tooth has stayed lonly just up until about 2 weeks ago when another bottom one came in. Now he has 4 more coming in. His 2 top ones are about to bust through and his 3rd bottom tooth just poked through today. The only bad thing about him having teeth is that he thinks that it is funny to bite and pull when I am nursing him. I tell him no. He looks at me, smiles, laughs, and does it again! Mischievious already...I am going to be in trouble!
Kingston is now crawling all over the place. He started crawling around 7 to 8 months old. He went from taking a couple of crawls in the morning to crawling a little bit, sitting up by himself, crawling again, and standing up at the coffee table all in one day. It was pretty amazing how much he learned how to do so quickly. The Lord is amazing in the way he has designed us to grow and learn. I stand in awe.
I caught myself looking at his newborn pictures. He looked so small and he depended solely on us to get him around and what he needs. Now he can feed himself and stand up by himself, get his own toys, occupy himself hours on end in his pack n play (as long as he has toys, a sippy cup, and some puffs or yogurt bites :)) I know that every parent thinks that their baby is advanced and smart, but it really surprises me how much he can do and keep up with.
He has a smile that lights up anybody's day. We get stopped in every store we go to. He just looks over at all the strangers and gives them his Kingston smile. He was getting upset when we were in a store so I started acting goofy and make him giggle. He was laughing so hard and loud that I had people trying to find the isle we were on to see where this laugh was coming from. Man, it makes me smile just thinking about it.

We are so very blessed to have the son we have. God is so good in his work and I know I dont give him credit enough for everything he gives us. I love just watching K sleep so peacefully and watch him play and smile and get so happy at the smallest things. I want to have that kind of joy in my life. I am going to try to see things through his eyes, maybe everyday would be a little brighter!
